Getting A Person Out Of The Deathbed Is Not Rocket Science!

Thirteen years ago, his mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer – cancer of the gall bladder, duodenum, pancreas and stomach. At the operation table, the doctors told him she had no chance of survival. Despite that, he didn’t lose hope. He brought his mother back home, even decided against chemo and radiation, and ‘healed’ her himself. Not only did she survive the multiple organ cancer, but today, at 83, is living a healthy and hearty life.

After literally bringing his mother back from the death bed, Mickey Mehta feels he can make a dead man walk…

Well, to most people, Mickey needs no introduction, but for the ones not in the know, here’s a little background. Mickey holds the record for teaching swimming in 24 hours (that was his earliest claim to fame). He is a pioneer in equipment-free training in India. Has groomed many a Miss Indias, and mentored and trained some of the country’s top industrialists, actors and politicians. With four decades of experience in health and fitness, and a chain of wellness centres behind him, Mickey is easily one of most successful health gurus in the country.

But tell him that and he is quick to retort, “My success comes when people call me up and say they had a great time working out at my centre, when corporates write in saying they are influenced by my thoughts, when people become successful with my coaching. Success, to me, is a few thank you’s, many smiling faces, fulfilled hearts and evolved minds.”

But then Mickey’s philosophy has always been different. He went over and above gym training, and made holistic healing – physical, physiological, psychological, emotional and spiritual wellness – his USP.
