A short guide to happiness in old age.
People generally believe that old age is not a very pleasant experience. No matter how much you loathe aging or wish you could hang in your youth for a little long but the fact is you know it’s coming. Aging is a fact of life and it also brings changes both the ones you want and the ones you don’t want with it.
To be honest old age isn’t that dreadful if there is a full acceptance of it. Things in the past are either forgotten or accepted and all you see for your future is death so an elderly person is left with no option but to dwell in present and make the best out of what they have got.
Another quality that old age brings is wisdom. After many trials and errors in life, a man finally understands what is right for them. They finally understand that it was indeed best if they had worried less about everything. They no more have to please anyone or worry about perfecting themselves; rather they achieve a realistic point of view about their strength and weaknesses.
Hence getting old is not a big deal if you know how to live happily even then. There are few things that one can do to increase their sense of wellbeing especially in old age.
