Few weeks back, the Satsang topic at The Yoga Institute was “Depression the Killer”.
Depression, which if not identified and treated on time, can be a killer disease. It is a very common disease, something which can affect people across ages, across gender and across towns and cities.
Having seen people from my extended families suffer from depression during my growing up years, I feel depression is something that affects not only the patient, but the entire family. Depression is a sickness which has no visible physical affects but it eats up the person’s mind slowly and gradually.
