We’ve long been fans of good coffee cocktails – and now more distillers than ever are embracing coffee to create new, exciting spirits. Caffeine’s editor-at-large Tim Ridley sent four of these to baristas and bartenders to see what they could create for the Caffeine Christmas party. Here are the delicious results!
Reclaimed Sour
Created by Sam Trevethyen, head of beverages at Grind
Discarded is a sweet vermouth made from the unused fruit of the coffee berry.
Ingredients
50ml Discarded Sweet Cascara Vermouth
25ml lemon juice
10ml sugar syrup
25ml aquafaba
