A true pioneer and exceptional architect Charles Correa created insurmountable waves in the field of architecture. Trained in the west, he developed an iconic approach in the late fifties to the socioeconomic realities of Indian society. He had been privileged to work in India with its strong sunlight and various other factors that shaped his design. He believed in two paradigms- the “open to-sky-space” and the “tube-dwelling” that manifested his style and symbol of creating spaces.
