Countryside Getaway

HAVE YOU EVER DREAMED ABOUT the perfect country getaway? Tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Middleburg, Virginia, through the woods and around a winding creek is 265 acres of rolling farmland where the Goodstone Inn has been settled since the 1700s.

The estate has its own farm, stables, luxury spa and six guest cottages, each with a unique country feel. Guests who stumble onto this romantic gem are bound to live the idyllic country lifestyle during their stay.

HISTORICAL BEAUTY

History runs deep at the Goodstone, and some of the structures date back to the Civil War era, giving each cottage a rich reflection of the past. The grounds have passed through many hands over the years, including prominent New York banking family Frederick and Wilma Warburg.

“They were one of the only families to truly reside on the property, and they shaped much of what the Goodstone is today,” says Emily Miller, the reservations and revenue manager.
