Pallavi Choksi is one of the partners of Pinakin Patel- INTERIOR DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE. She has worked with some of the firm’s most notable projects, which includes high-end luxury homes, commercial spaces and the popular restaurant Aurus in Juhu.
Always aimed to gain international exposure for which she shifted base to New York and worked as senior designer with Currim Bhoy Architecture and Design. She even headed their Mumbai office as an Associate. She has worked on premium commercial projects, which included setting up of McKinsey offices in Gurugram, Mumbai and Chennai.
Here, Pallavi Choksi shares her views on designing and conceptualizing spaces.
How would you define your personal style when it comes to home interiors?
For home interiors, other than the design being contemporary in style and one that has a strong classic base, there is nothing in particular that I like. Most of the preferences evolve with time, as per the client’s personality and requirements.
As an expert in this segment, what according to you are the parameters one should consider, when designing an aesthetically-functional home?
