Architect Milind Pai Has Designed a Chic and Sophisticated Apartment for a Nuclear Business Family in Mumbai.
Architect and interior designer Milind Pai of eponymous firm is well-known for his creative solutions, that turn dreams into reality. Located in Hiranandani, Kandivali, this 3,704 sq. ft. apartment has a sober material palette with splashes of colour, rich textures and a refined luxurious appeal.
The apartment opens into the entrance lobby, which has a set of red coloured sofas, chairs and a console juxtaposed against a travertine marble-clad wall. A little ahead lies a linear and expansive living-cum-dining room characterized by a taupe coloured sofas and gold trimmings. The dining area is a seamless part of the living area, where an onyx dining table with rose gold base and chairs add a certain charm; while the chandeliers add drama. A balcony runs parallel to one entire side of the living-cum-dining room. A Rehau wicker swing and cosy outdoor furniture anoint the balcony, while providing a glorious panoramic view from the 24th floor; heightening the overall living experience.
Dark grey and white shades dominates the kitchen decor, while a splash of brown on the breakfast counter and textured tiling complete the airy space.
