Pune-based Interior Designer Rajesh Ranka Opts for Light, Form and Colours on a White Canvas to Design This Elegant Home for Oswals’ in Pune.
Interior designer Rajesh Ranka has designed a lavish residence for Nilesh and Sangeeta Oswal in Salisbury Park, in Pune. Spread over an area of 2,400 sq.ft., the apartment was previously a 4BHK apartment, which is now converted into a 3BHK by augmenting spaces. Explaining the brief in detail Rajesh adds, “The couple wanted glamorous and harmonious space. As I was given a free-hand in terms of designing and materials, I was able to balance my design aesthetics with their personal preference creating a classy decor.”
As one steps into the entrance lobby, the white brick wall along with an eye-catching console, a black Mural on one side and a serein temple with glass separation on the other side creates a welcoming ambience for the visitors.
The living room is characterised by a black and white colour scheme with contrasting golden hues breaking the monotony. The selective artefacts, furniture and especially the rotary telephone reignates the old-world-charm. The aesthetically designed TV unit has illuminated white wall and has cabinets below. The detailing on the ceiling is unique and impressive. The dining area has glass ceiling with a chandelier and silver artwork on wall. Giving a mesmerizing touch to the dining table are the silverware aesthetically displayed.
