AR. ASHISH KUBER DESIGNS A LUXURIOUS HOME FOR VISHAL AND POONAM GOKHALE IN PUNE THAT REFLECTS THE OWNERS’ IMPECCABLE LIFESTYLE.
The Pune–based architect and interior designer Ashish Kuber from Variance has designed this home that is tucked away in a quiet residential locality of Pune that redefines luxury and comfort. Designing a home for a realtor can be quite challenging but a clear understanding between the architect and client ensured that this home Chirayu balanced aesthetics and practicality perfectly. owned by MD & Chairman of Gokhale Constructions, a reputed construction company in Pune, Vishal Gokhale and his wife and co-director Poonam Gokhale shares this 4,500 sq. ft. bungalow located in Shantiban Society, Kothrud in Pune.
The brief was to design this bungalow as a sanctuary with a modern design aesthetic that would reflect the owners’ dynamic lifestyle. “We were presented with a rare opportunity of designing this project in its entirety right from architecture, landscape to interior design of the home. This allowed us creative freedom to create a design language that tied in seamlessly with each other. A balance between aesthetics and functionality was a primary aspect of the design. An average plot size, with roads on two sides meant that the footprint available was not much,” informs Ar. Ashish Kuber, Principal Architect, Variance.
The requirements included parking for four cars, a family and home theatre, dance studio, living and dining areas, kitchen with dry balcony, powder room, guest bedroom with attached toilet, parent’s room with attached toilet, children’s bedroom with walk in wardrobe and toilet, master bedroom with lounge and walk in wardrobe and attached toilet.
