MARVELLOUS MARKETS

We look forward to the influx of Christmas markets each time the festive period rolls around and Cheshire is lucky to have its fair few to choose from

MANCHESTER
November 8th - December 21st

One of the most anticipated Christmas markets will take over Manchester’s city centre from early November. There are more than 300 yuletide stalls and chalets offering crafted seasonal gifts, from handmade jewellery to artisan leather bags. You can also enjoy the mouth-watering international food on offer, from Spanish paella to a more traditional hog roast. Delicious. Albert Square and other areas around Manchester

MACCLESFIELD
December 22nd

Taking place on the cobbled streets of Macclesfield town centre, the festive edition of the monthly Treacle Market will be full of seasonal delights. From bespoke pottery and vintage finds to home-grown honey and unique flavoured gins, you’ll find something to put a smile on your face this Christmas. Wander through the lanes and you’ll also discover a range of food stalls to whet your appetite. Marketplace and Town Hall in Macclesfield, treaclemarket.co.uk

ALTRINCHAM
November 26th - December 29th

Buzzing, bustling Altrincham Market will be taking on a festive twist from late November. Here you’ll be able to find contemporary cards and decorations as well as a range of Christmas themed workshops, including wreath making. The Market House Kitchens will also be offering festive menus to satiate the late-night shopper... Well, all that browsing builds up an appetite! Altrincham Market Hall, facebook.com/altrinchammkt
