What is the secret to living a truly purposeful life? Mikaela LagdameoMartinez, an entrepreneur and lifestyle blogger, walks the talk, putting what matters to her into practice through the projects she pursues, the methods she adopts, and even the clothes and jewellery she chooses to own. Happily married to businessman Chucho Martinez, she is mum to three children: Noelle, 15; Tyler, 11; and little Maxen; 3. Formerly the VIP Services Manager of Stores Specialists Inc (SSI), Lagdameo-Martinez left her nine-to-five last year to explore new passion projects and spend more time with her family.
Armed with knowledge from her past ventures, she is dipping her toes in the food industry, specifically mall kiosks for steak wraps and flavoured taho. In addition, she and her husband are getting ready to put up their first lounge and bar in Magallanes. “It’s really his baby, but I’m on deck to help with interior design,” she shares. She continues to maintain and create content for her online space (mikaelamartinez. com), where she tackles topics on motherhood, travel, and fashion, among other things. She has fallen in love with pilates, too, which she now does religiously after dropping her youngest son off at school.
