Design & Build Quality
The Sigma 28 mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens is designed for professional use and feels solid in the hands. The lens, made in Japan, uses metal and engineering plastic in the outer shell. Designed for full-frame cameras, the lens is heavy (865 g). It is weather sealed and the front element offers a protective coating that repels water droplets sticking to it. The lens mount is made of metal. The filter thread has a diameter of 77 mm. Our review lens had a Canon mount.
