Driven by advances in neural networks and deep learning, the LG C1 boasts a variety of picture improvements over the 2020 LG CX screen. It has strong claim to be the best all-round OLED LG has ever made, as well as re-staking its claim as one of the best gaming TVs.
Having won over home cinema fans with its OLEDs, LG has its sights set on wooing gamers even more than before. The C1 has support for VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), NVIDIA G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync, as well as ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode).
As part of LG’s enthusiasm for gaming, there’s also a new Game Optimizer menu that allows quick access to gaming-specific features and requisite tweaks to brightness, VRR and so on. Game Genre selection, which applies picture processing based on playstyle, is particularly useful, with slightly different processing applied depending on what you’re playing.
