Ever dreamed of running your own fitness business? This is your chance.

Golden Opportunity

You might have aspirations of starting your own gym but you hesitate because you either feel that you lack the relevant knowledge or are unsure if it will be a worthwhile investment. You are in luck because Gold’s Gym has you covered.

We talk to the Founder and Managing Director of Rising Fitness and Gold’s Gym franchisee Alex Mok about his inspiring experience, from starting out as a self-taught personal trainer to now running his own successful business. We also talk to Tze Khit to learn more about the exciting franchise opportunity that Gold’s Gym is offering.

How did your fitness journey begin?

Alex: I was initially in Nanyang Polytechnic but I realized that it wasn’t the type of course that I wanted to be in so I quit. After that, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do so I worked part-time. At that time, I was still skinny. I was about 50kg. I started doing my own research and training and that’s when I found what I wanted to do, my passion, which is fitness. I started taking up a diploma in sports coaching and then an internship with Gold’s Gym, working for Tze Khit. After national service, I contacted him and asked if he had any personal training jobs. He recommended the NCSF course so that’s when my personal training journey really started.
