A TRAIN driver was on the tail end of an amazing escape when his cabin smashed through an elevated section of track – only to be saved by a whale sculpture.
Dramatic pictures show the empty metro train perched upon one of two sculptures of tail fins, aptly known as “flukes”, yards above ground level yesterday morning.
