Face Mask Law Ends On Monday

SCOTS will no longer be legally required to wear face masks in indoor public places and on public transport from Easter Monday.

And even though there are still about 5000 new cases every day, the Scottish Government has decided the advice no longer needs to be legally binding.

Instead, the Government will simply “recommend” that people continue to wear face coverings to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said: In recent weeks we have seen steady progress as we move back to a greater sense of normality and a more sustainable way of managing this virus.
