DAVINA McCall has told how she needed to have her benign brain tumour removed amid fears it could cause problems further down the line.
The TV presenter went for a routine scan, only to discover she had a rare colloid cyst which had grown to 14mm.
Davina was last night recovering after the operation.
Her partner Michael Douglas said: "Davina is out of surgery and according to the surgeon it was textbook.
"She's currently recovering in ICU as a precaution. She's utterly exhausted.
"Thanks so much for all the love from everyone." Even though the tumour was not cancerous, all brain surgery carries risks.
Davina, 57, said as she prepared to have it removed yesterday: "I realised I have to get it out.
