DUBAI
Dubai on Saturday announced relaxation in curbs for UAE visa holders who are stuck outside and want to return from certain countries if they have received two shots of UAE-approved vaccines.
The UAE will also suspend travelers from entering the country from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Namibia on national and foreign flights from Monday (June 21).
The restrictions would also include transit passengers, with the exception of transit flights traveling to the UAE and bound for those countries.
The Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, headed by Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced updates to Dubai’s travel protocols for inbound passengers from India, South Africa, and Nigeria effective from Wednesday (June 23rd).
The updates are part of the Committee's keenness to protect passengers and ease hassles for them without compromising on COVID-19 precautionary measures put in place to safeguard everyone’s health and wellbeing.
