Paul Sheerin signed off by putting Aberdeen back into the fight for third spot and insists Stephen Glass is taking over a squad in a real position of strength.

Johnny Hayes netted his third goal of the season to give the Dons their first away win in the league this year and move them four points behind third-placed Hibs .

Glass will officially take over this week, after completing his quarantine, with assistant Allan Russell.
