Food, clothing, and shelter are said to be the three prime constituents of our life. But, perhaps it is not the reality of the modern and high-tech lifestyle. Nowadays, it's the era of electricity; as if electricity has become the accelerator of our life car. Life comes to a standstill the moment electricity goes off!

Actually, the pulsating vibes of electricity didn't take birth in this era. These were invented in the most esteemed era of human civilisation, many centuries ago. Yes, we are talking about the Vedic era and our Vedic rishis. In that initial phase of the universe, the most enlightened scientists of the world were present on the earth. One of them was sage Atharva– the world's first scientist!

Evidences reveal that sage Atharva made three great inventions in his lifetime. One of them was producing electricity through the churning of water. The Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Taitiriya Samhita clearly mention– Tvaamagne pushkaraadadhi atharvaa niramanthata, which means Sage Atharva produced Hydel Power by the churning of pond water. This is somewhat the reflection of today's dam system.
