Verily, such signs were apparent in Damodardas right from childhood. His persona radiated a divine aura, so much so that if gold was placed next to him, it appeared dull! Everybody could witness that despite being surrounded by people, the little child remained engrossed in the remembrance of the Divine Lord.
As time progressed, Damodardas grew up. However, along with that, his father's tension also grew. It was due to Damodardas' least interest and participation in worldly affairs and constantly yearning for the audience of the Lord Divine. While his two brothers delved in the world and developed interest in mundane affairs, Damodardas remained engrossed in the memories of his Lord. He would sit in the balcony for a long time, gazing at the main street. All this while, he waited for the arrival of his beloved Lord, who had promised him in his heart to come one day.
