NewMotor Sports Association chairman David Richards will begin work on assessing the financial position and commercial opportunities open to the governing body of British motorsport as he embarks on the next challenge in his career this week.
Richards outlined the tasks that lay ahead for the MSA at the Watkins Lecture on the Friday of Autosport International. But before being able to tackle any of the threats – and opportunities – that he has identified, Richards knows his first job is to solidify the MSA's financial base.
