As part of the Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters, the Tourism Authority of Thailand Singapore office once again gathered a group of keen Singapore golfers and flew them up to Thailand’s Rose of the North, as Chiang Mai is famously known.
The thought of golfing in a cooler climate and word of the value-for-money 5-day-4-night trip which included 3 rounds of golf at top-notch courses with lunch saw places quickly fill up. Play was to be at the best of Chiang Mai’s courses like Chiangmai Highlands Golf And Spa Resort, North Hill Golf Club and Alpine Golf Resort.
And so it was from 21 to 25 February that a total of 96 golfers landed in Chiang Mai and were warmly welcomed with flower garlands offered by a bevy of local beauty queens in traditional Thai costume.
