Sweet dreams

ANY horse owner will tell you that their number one priority is their horse’s welfare. But anything that makes life easier for the owner and rider, too, comes a close second.

Welfare, ease of use and pleasing aesthetics are all key things to consider when designing or revamping a yard.

BEAUTIFUL BUILDS

THEN there’s aesthetics – is there anything more agreeable than a beautifully laid-out stable block, adorned with luxurious stable fronts and happy heads peering over the doors?

One brand synonymous with this sort of look is Monarch Equestrian, a familyrun stabling business with functionality and luxury at their core.

From spacious stalls crafted from fine hardwoods – or environmentally sound, durable, recycled materials – to knowing which state-of-the-art ventilation and lighting systems can complement your plans, Monarch can advise.

Marketing manager Lorelei Tomkins says: “The comfort and safety of equine residents is paramount and every element of the build is carefully curated to promote the wellbeing and happiness of horses.”

Monarch uses scanning technology to help buyers visualise how best to use their space or current barn.

“We have a range of styles designed to enhance both modern new builds and older yards, or help owners create exquisite tack rooms or bespoke grooming areas,” adds Lorelei.

Laura Eve Thyer, CEO of Derrière Equestrian, is about to embark on her dream stable block at Bircher Farm Stud.
