Vigilance in oneself is an important virtue. It can often make the difference when it comes to preventing an unfortunate event, especially with regard to one’s personal safety. In that respect, safety and vigilance go hand-in-hand. One has to learn to be able to strike a delicate balance with diligence and vigilance. In fact, it’s the perfect harmony of the two that leads to the optimum level of functioning, whether on the road or at home. That is the precise aim of Hyundai with their #BeTheBetterGuy campaign. It isn’t just a safety initiative, but a holistic movement towards making society more empathetic, both on the road and to social causes in general. It’s about making individuals more responsible citizens of the world, with a special focus on safety and human progress.
This time around, Hyundai aims to strive even higher with their #BeTheBetterGuy campaign. HMIL’s main point of this campaign continues to be the emphasis on creating a behavioural change around Indian road users by driving home the narrative of ‘safety begins with you’. The message is simple from Hyundai; although cars come packed with a lot more safety features and roads, too, have become better from an infrastructure standpoint, the onus still is on each and every one of us to be more responsible out on the road. As a matter of fact, this process begins even before one gets out onto the open road. There are a number of checks and balances one must incorporate in their daily driving lives to ensure a smoother experience on tarmac.
