There's no denying that going to one of the many race or test tracks in the country is a joyous occasion, whether it's for a new car T or motorcycle. But this time around, it was all about Reise Moto's new steel radial tyres. The company calls them TraceRad, and they are meant to provide a grippier solution for everyday motorcycle tyres. But, before we get to how the tyres did on the track, let's talk a little about what they have to offer.
Reise's TraceRad is a new range of premium steel radial tyres, which are said to incorporate a zerodegree steel belt technology. This is meant to provide more precision, handling and durability. The TraceRad tyres are priced at Rs 6,199 (rear tyre) and Rs 5,199 (front tyre). Additionally, these tyres come with a six-year manufacturing warranty and are engineered for some of the most popular motorcycle models in the Indian market.
These include the KTM Duke (200, 250, 390), KTM RC (200, 390), Suzuki Gixxer 250, TVS Apache RR310, Bajaj Dominar 400, Triumph Speed 400 and the Aprilia RS 457. That's not all though, Reise Moto will continue to further expand its portfolio of motorcycle products, particularly in the niche segment of radial tyres. The company feels that it is a small, but growing, niche in India, and the Reise Moto team plans to build a comprehensive range that serves motorcyclists riding anything from 150cc to 2,000cc motorcycles. That certainly sounds like good news, but we'll have to wait and assess the progress with each new product.
