India's first RegTech Conclave by Zone Startups India and GIFT City - a success!

This Conclave was the culmination event of ZSI's RegTech Accelerator 2022 (India's First Accelerator Program focusing on regulatory and supervisory technology solutions for the BFSI industry).

The Chief Guest for the Conclave, Honourable Mr. R. Gandhi (Former Deputy Governor-Reserve Bank of India). lauded the idea of the Conclave by saying, "It is a great idea to have this kind of RegTech Conclave, first time in India. It is a need for all stakeholders-not just the RegTech companies but all stakeholders like the regulators and other regulated entities. The Conclave is a first step. I wish it continues in the coming years as well."

Mr. Gandhi also launched a report on India's regtech landscape 'RegTech - Gaining Momentum' prepared by Deloitte, India alongwith Mr. Rohit Mahajan (President-Risk Advisory, Deloitte, India), Ms. Aruna Pannala (Partner-Risk Advisory, Deloitte, India) and Mr. Gaurav Prakash (Chief Strategy Officer-Zone Startups India).

The conclave had special addresses, a panel discussion, a closed-door regtech roundtable discussion attended by chief compliance officers of BFSI organizations and the pitches by the startups in the cohort. Dignitaries from the BFSI regulators and enterprises, participants from the regtech domain and the start-up world along with the Zone Startups India's ecosystem invitees assembled in the International Convention Hall of the BSE Building to attend the powerpacked event.
