However, for a photography magazine like Smart Photography, it is more about the lovely calendars that reach us every year, themed around a concept that connects humanity with nature. This year’s calendar features 13 masters of photography, with a concept dubbed ‘The New Humanity’.

The Panasonic Lumix S5 was launched on September 2, 2020. This is the fourth camera in Panasonic’s S-series. The S5 has a form factor similar to the GH5 but with added features similar to the S1 and S1H. We have been witnessing a constant and steady scaling up of brands in the smartphone market for the last few years. While players who started with the budget segment move to a mid-priced segment and mid-price brands rapidly start testing the waters at the premium markets, the existing premium players like Apple and Samsung are busy carving out a luxury segment, catering to the crème-de-la-crème of the society. How To Photograph Urban Landscape?
Urban landscapes are extremely interesting photographic subjects. Also known as cityscape photography, urban landscape photography is nearly same to other outdoor photography, but also has some particular considerations to be familiar with.
Tamron 70-300 mm F/4.5-6.3 Sony Mount
Tamron has been extending its portfolio for the E-mount lenses gradually and it now features the wide zoom 28-200mm, the 70-180mm and the recent addition - 70-300mm. With so many overlapping lenses now from Tamron, it is possible that you might be wondering which is the best lens you ought to get? Like most of the lenses for the E-mount this lens effectively goes against the Sony 70-300mm. Like the other category of lenses, Tamron 70-300 mm (at ₹ 47,900) is at nearly half the price of the Sony lens (approx. more than ₹ 1 Lac). Similar to the other Sony lenses, you will get image stabilization in Tamron lenses too. So, the Tamron is effectively a much lighter, more affordable and compact lens for this focal range. To review the Tamron 70-300mm lens, we paired it with the Sony A7 S iii.
Nikon Z7 ii
In October 2020, Nikon announced the launch of the Nikon Z7 ii as a continuation to its imaging line-up legacy. Priced at ₹ 2.5 Lacs (body only), the Z7 ii effectively goes against the popular offerings like the Canon EOS R5 and the Sony A7R IV. It is considerably cheaper as compared to both these cameras and with the reduction in the price point, certain things are amiss in the Z7ii.
