The legendary actor breathed his last at 10:30 pm in Kochi. He was 75. Innocent was an award-winning actor with a line-up that included 750 films. He started a film production company, Satru Combines, with producer David Kachappilly which produced four films in Malayalam including award-winning Lekhayude Maranam Oru Flashback, Ormakkai and Vida Parayum Munpe. He was also a politician, serving as a Member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha (2014-2019), representing Chalakudy constituency.
