ANUPAM KHER SHARES SOME LIFE AND CAREER LESSONS WITH SUMAN SHARMA | Anupam Kher started his Bollywood journey with the gritty Saaransh (1984), where he played a 65-year-old at the age of 29. Today, at age 67, he can probably wear the same clothes and do the same role all over again and you’ll probably not notice any difference. Life hasn’t been easy for the versatile actor but he’s always believed in the fact that life can surprise you at any turn. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai has always been his philosophy and he’s always been a jovial soul believing in it. His last three films, Kartikeya 2, Kashmir Files and Uunchai, have made a lot of noise for different reasons. He shares his euphoria with Filmfare in an all-heart interview. Excerpts:
SUMAN SHARMA
BACK to his BEST

Your last three releases, Kashmir Files, Kartikeya 2, and Uunchai have all done well…

I am really overwhelmed with the response that my films have received. It is a great feeling to know that my work is being appreciated. I am really thankful to all my fans and well-wishers for their support and love. I have always been passionate about my work and I believe in giving my best to whatever I do. I am blunt and honest when it comes to my work and I don’t believe in compromising on quality. I am glad that my hard work has paid off and I am looking forward to more such success in the future.

The Kashmir Files seems close to your heart

The Kashmir Files is a story of the untold truth of the Kashmiri Pandits, who were forced to flee their homes in the 1990s due to the genocide. The film is a tribute to the victims of the genocide and their families, who have been living in exile for more than two decades. The film is a reminder of the atrocities that were committed against the Kashmiri Pandits and the need to bring justice to them. The film also highlights the need to bring peace and harmony in the region. The film is a reminder of the need to bring justice to the victims of the genocide and to ensure that such atrocities are never repeated.

Uunchai was made by Rajshri productions, with whom you share a long association…
