When billionaire heir Anant Ambani married Radhika Merchant in front of some of the world's biggest stars, it was always going to be a lavish affair.
The couple finally tied the knot in Mumbai last weekend following months of elaborate prewedding celebrations featuring musical performances by A-listers, with reports suggesting that the entire production had cost hundreds of millions of dollars.
In the grand finale to the most extravagant wedding of the decade, bride Radhika wore an opulent hand-embroidered gold lehenga by Indian label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, featuring a 7ft train and a 16ft veil.
Her jewellery was equally spellbinding: a necklace of diamonds and emeralds designed by Nisha Mehta, paired with her mother's antique choker.
"I wore the same necklace my sister and aunts wore at their weddings, and I truly believe it gave me a special strength and blessing," she later said.
Her 29-year-old groom glowed with happiness and pride in a red and gold sherwani by celebrated
Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Anant is the youngest son of India's richest man Mukesh Ambani, who has a fortune estimated at £90bn - and is a director at his father's firm, Reliance Industries.
Radhika, also 29, is a director of pharmaceutical company Encore Healthcare, run by her tycoon parents Viren and Shaila Merchant, and is a trained classical Indian dancer.
CELEBRITIES GALORE
Stars from the worlds of TV, politics, society and music jetted into Mumbai for last weekend's wedding ceremony, which was held at the Jio World Centre.
