Spring is in the air and Dannii Minogue is making the most of the change of season by indulging her love of bright colours.
Dancing around a London studio in an array of gorgeous outfits that span the spectrum, the singer, presenter and fashion designer is in her element as hello! joins her for this exclusive interview and photoshoot.
We meet 48 hours after Dannii has stepped off a flight from her home in Australia, but ever the professional, she’s determined not to let jet lag dampen her mood.
Dannii, who is spending time in the UK to launch her new fashion range, as well as a brand-new TV dating show, is relishing the chance to dress up – because as mum to a sporty teenage boy, she’s more likely to be found these days in jeans, a T-shirt and flat shoes.
“Before I had Ethan, I only wore heels, I didn’t own a pair of flat shoes,” she says. “Being the mum of a son has definitely changed what I was wearing, and I am also conscious about what I’m wearing rocking up as parent.”
TRUE COLOURS
For today, though, it’s all about glamour as Dannii, 52, shows us her spring/summer collection for QVC UK, which features pretty day dresses and event wear as well as denim and cotton tees.
“I love colour all year round. It’s dopamine dressing because it really lifts my mood, whether I’m wearing it or whether I’m looking at someone else,” she says as she slips her slender feet into a pair of killer heels.
