Rescue possibly a year away for stranded astronauts
LOST IN SPACE!

INTREPID astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore took off from Earth on what was supposed to be an eightday mission aboard the International Space Station — but now the NASA vets could be stranded for a year!

“It’s kind of like Gilligan’s Island in space,” says a source. “They were set to go on an eight-day voyage, and now who knows how long it will take them to get home!”

Suni, 58, and Butch, 61, manned the maiden flight on Boeing’s Starliner craft in early June despite a small helium leak. Leaks in the plumbing system were found and repaired from the ground, but more helium leaks and malfunctions in its propulsion system have basically stranded the craft 262 miles above Earth!
