BELLA'S BATTLE - 'I'm not giving up'

Around age 16, just as Bella Hadid was taking her first steps towards her career as a world-famous supermodel, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease along with her younger brother Anwar, 24, and their mum, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda, 59.

Throughout her public life she’s been open about her condition, and on August 6 she posted an update on Instagram, sharing she feels “finally healthy” after enduring 100 days of intensive daily treatments.

“Living in this state, worsening with time and work while trying to make myself, my family and the people who support me, proud, had taken a toll on me in ways I can’t really explain,” she captioned a carousel of snaps including images of her receiving intravenous transfusions. “To be that sad and sick with the most blessings/privilege/opportunity/love around me was… the most confusing thing ever.”
