Crunching eyeballs and munching rat tails might have seemed the hardest thing for Liz Ellis to swallow in the South African jungle while competing in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! but it was being away from her two children, Evelyn, 11, and Austin, 7, that was her biggest challenge on the show’s ninth season.
“I just felt so isolated from them,” Ellis explained to WHO soon after she was crowned this year’s winner by popular vote. “I didn’t know whether they were enjoying it or whether they hated seeing me on the show.”
