SEAN SZEPS From 'ignored' TO ADORED

When Sean Szeps first touched down in Sydney after moving across the globe from America to raise his newborn twins with partner, Australian broadcaster Josh Szeps, he had no idea what the biggest challenge ahead of him would be. It wasn’t finding a house. It wasn’t nerves about living in a new country. The biggest hurdle he first faced? Finding a parent who would connect with him about the wild and wonderful journey of parenthood he had just embarked on.

For many who know Sean, 36, for his painstakingly accurate – and hilarious – representation of parenting dilemmas on Instagram, it seems impossible to comprehend that he wouldn’t be able to make a connection with a fellow parent. But in his memoir, Not Like Other Dads, Sean paints a very real picture of what it has been like to navigate fatherhood as a gay man.
