Selena Gomez DOCO DRAMA

Her new documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me lifts the lid on the star’s struggles with fame, her ongoing health battles, that break-up with Justin Bieber and her fractured relationships. She followed up its release with an in-depth interview with Rolling Stone, and in doing so Gomez unlocked a Pandora’s Box of controversy.

The doco follows six years of the singer and actress’ career, from 2016 when the then 23-year-old was embarking on her Revival Tour. Her tour and album of the same name were meant to be a reinvention of sorts for the child star – from Disney darling to a grown-up, sexual being – but it ended with her being admitted to a psychiatric facility, one of four she’s attended in her 30 years of life. She took a hiatus from stardom and social media.
