As we plunge into January, we've now reached that time of year that is commonly known as summer. However Australia is home to many seasons, and they're based on thousands of years of observation and knowledge that has been passed down by its traditional owners for generations.

Aboriginal elder and director of Evolve Communities, Aunty Munya Andrews says First Nations seasons are different to European seasons, because they place a stronger emphasis on the environment around us.
