Even today, when one talks about patriotic films, the first movie that comes to our mind is Border. The audience still gets emotional while watching this movie. J.P. Dutta has directed, produced, and even written the screenplay of Border which won the National Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. LOC Kargil, Refugee, Paltan, and Umrao Jaan are also the creations of JP Dutta. He also headed the feature film section jury for the National Film Awards (2010).
