NEW FANTASY DRAMA

Nautilus From Friday 25 October, Prime Video

Jules Verne's classic science-fiction story Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea gets a bold reimagining in Prime Video's new 10-part series Nautilus, which places Captain Nemo, played by Star Trek: Discovery's Shazad Latif, at the centre of the tale.

The story begins in 1857 when Nemo is being held in a penal colony run by the ruthless East India Company. Presented with an opportunity to seize command of the Nautilus submarine that he helped to build, he uses it to make a daring escape with several of his fellow prisoners. But his journey to freedom sets him on a collision course with Humility Lucas (Apples Never Fall's Georgia Flood), who's being transported to Bombay to be married.

TV&Satellite Week caught up with Latif, 36, and Flood, 31, to find out more about the series...
