The Good Doctor

It has been a tough road to parenthood for Dr Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) and his wife Lea (Paige Spara) in US medical drama The Good Doctor.
They lost their first baby, a girl, when Lea had a miscarriage and, as she struggled with her grief, it looked as if the couple's relationship might not survive.
They got through that, only for Lea's doctor to tell her the damage caused by her miscarriage meant that it might never be safe for her to get pregnant again. As she and Shaun were still digesting that news, Lea discovered that she was, in fact, already pregnant.
