When British-Muslim doctor Abdulla Khan gets into an argument with a strange woman at a bus stop on Halloween, it becomes a life-changing experience. The woman in question is Kathy, a 150-year-old vampire who unintentionally turns him into a fellow bloodsucker in ITVX comedy Count Abdulla.
Until this point, the medic’s main concerns were balancing his 20-something party lifestyle with his mother’s religious expectations. After his encounter with Kathy, Abdulla has a new set of problems – namely retractable incisors, an aversion to sunlight and a distinct lack of reflection. He also finds himself drawn to the hospital blood bank…
