Hollywood star HILARY SWANK introduces us to her journalism drama

A disgraced investigative journalist is plunged into a complex cold-case mystery as she tries to rebuild her life in Alibi’s new crime-drama import Alaska Daily.

The 11-part story stars two-time Oscar-winner Hilary Swank as Eileen Fitzgerald, a hot-shot reporter who burns bridges while working at a major New York publication when her article about a corrupt military general is discredited.

Down on her luck, the newshound is intrigued by an unexpected job offer from old acquaintance Stanley Kornik (played by Grey’s Anatomy star Jeff Perry), the editor of (fictional) local rag The Daily Alaskan.

While Eileen’s not keen on upping sticks to the city of Anchorage, Stanley soon sparks her interest with the prospect of unravelling the many cases of missing and murdered indigenous women in the state.
