Every designer has their signature and iconic designs and for Tory Burch, she refuses to conform to what is expected of her, namely feminine prints and delicate silhouettes. Over the last few years, she has constantly pushed her boundaries to exceed our expectations, including the recent Autumn 2024 show at the halls of the New York Public Library, where she celebrated her namesake label’s 20th anniversary.
In her show notes, she says, “Our goal was to make the everyday sublime. We found inspiration in the most unexpected places — an old jacket, a lampshade, even a shower cap.”
