A location that never gets old, Orchard Road is Singapore's vibrant lifestyle, fashion and dining haven that is also home to Hilton Singapore Orchard. The 1,080-room property, spread over two towers of guest rooms and suites, is Hilton's largest hotel in Asia Pacific, reopening in February 2022 after an extensive renovation with a reimagination of an iconic landmark (the former Mandarin Orchard).
Harking back to nostalgic times, the sleek and sophisticated interiors pay tribute to the island state's rich colonial past and Orchard Road's plantation heritage abounding with its fruit orchards, nutmeg plantations and pepper farms. To bring the botanical-inspired design to life, the hotel's contemporary vision integrated an ensemble of elegant dark wood accents, contrasting green and grey tones, and an abundance of natural light.
After an early morning flight from Kuala Lumpur, our weekend getaway at Hilton Singapore Orchard began with a quick refreshment at the Level 6 Executive Lounge, among the largest in Singapore, offering all-day beverages and snacks, besides breakfast, afternoon and evening drinks tailored for executive floor guests.
For a two-night stay, our King Premium City View room is a sanctuary of comfort and style, tastefully refurbished in a soothing grey-neutral palette and framed by panoramic views of the city skyline. The room is well-appointed with modern amenities: open-concept wardrobes and LED mirrors, and smart conveniences: efficient technology of in-room motion, air-conditioning and light sensors; and Digital Key and smartphone-connected services for a sustainable stay.
To create the perfect staycation, a hotel is not just a place for rest and respite but a mecca for discerning palates. From casual elegance to Michelin-starred mastery, Hilton Singapore Orchard is a world-class dining spot, boasting a collection of five innovative concepts of restaurants and bars, each a destination in its own right.
