Chaumet, a “naturalist jeweller” with a rich history spanning over 240 years, has always drawn inspiration from nature. More alluring than ever, the French maison has unveiled a fresh edition of its Bee My Love icon. The bee, an imperial emblem chosen by Napoléon and a symbol of Chaumet’s connection to French history, is boldly revisited in this collection. Paying homage to the collection’s signature elements while pushing the boundaries of design, the dazzling new offerings showcase the graphic form of the honeycomb cell, blending gold and diamonds to continuously refine the collection, even to the point of abstraction.
At the heart of this capsule is the spectacular Bee My Love bib necklace. A High Jewellery masterpiece of craftsmanship, it took over 750 hours of development in design, assembly and hand-polishing to bring this vision to life. Composed of 410 g of gold, the sumptuous and supple necklace is a striking blend of sensuality and architecture with honeycomb motifs that appear to flow infinitely. Echoing the collection’s cuff, the precious mesh of 695 hand-assembled links of the bib necklace drapes as sensuously as silk against the skin.
