Thai actress Supassara Thanachat, better known as Kao, arrived with her crew a tad late, entering the warehouse for the cover shoot and immediately greeting everyone with an amicable smile. She's shooting her first foreign film, Kong Tao, in Kuala Lumpur at the time of this writing. It features a diverse cast, including Hong Kong actor Philip Keung, Singaporean star Glenn Yong and our own multifaceted Bront Palarae.
In the film, Kao plays a dogged journalist determined to find the truth behind a series of grisly beheadings that once shocked Thailand. Along the way, she meets a group of daring YouTubers who have come to the country to investigate paranormal activity. They work together to reveal a maze of secrets, including horrifying revelations.
A fashion star in her own right, Kao is known for her daring and distinctive style. In an age where what we wear reflects who we are, it's astounding to consider how a well-put-together ensemble can have a positive effect on our self-esteem.
"For me, there's nothing quite like looking in the mirror and experiencing a burst of confidence because I'm completely satisfied with my appearance that day. The simplest of outfit choices can completely transform my mood and set the tone for an awesome day," she says.
