L'OFFICIEL: What defines your brand philosophy and sets the brand apart?

LEONIE NG: Minimalist elegance with a delicious slice of seductive edge. I want my designs to flow flow between feminine and masculine vibes, reflecting the fluidity of today's modern identity. I believe my jewellery designs should act as a sign-off to the wearers' wardrobe to express their unique identities, unencumbered by societal expectations because that's what jewellery does for me.

LO: What are the materials and techniques used to create your jewellery?

LN: For a timely appeal and longevity, I work with precious metals in 14k and 18k solid gold and occasionally platinum by request. Our jewellery is made of quality materials because I prioritise the tactile experience what my clients and I put and feel against our skin matters. We invest time into sourcing natural gemstones for clients, chosen not only for their quality, cut and unique colour but also for their ability to complement our designs and give them character.

The core of our process involves 3D printing which helps to minimise waste by calculating how much material we need to use. By using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), we can push the limits of our designs to create these detailed digital forms, which are then finished by our amazing artisans by hand. I believe technology is the future of sustainability but it's not the end product. There's a need to mould modern tech with traditional craftsmanship.

LO: Looking back or looking forward - what takes precedence for your jewellery designs?
