An elegant period backdrop combined with French contemporary style was interior designer Chelsea Dixon’s brief for the remodel of this elegant west London Victorian townhouse. ‘The owner, who’s very stylish and into fashion as well as design, fell in love with the energy and light of this pretty terraced house from the very first time she viewed it,’ explains Chelsea. Her client had discovered this village-like area with its individual shops and restaurants on her lockdown walks around west London and was determined to find a property there. So when this came on the market, she lost no time in sealing the deal.
‘The house had been renovated and refurbished by the previous owners, but it was just not my client’s style,’ says Chelsea, who co-owns and runs Vada Collective design studio. The brief was to reimagine it in Vada Collective fashion, creating a home that was comfortable and feminine and a great space for entertaining friends. ‘For me, it was a dream job,’ says Chelsea.
